Come see Jillery Hoops at the 2012 Dream BIG! Auction which benefits Camp Day Dreams. Jillery will perform on the main stage during the auction and will periodically step into another room to hoop with the kids (and adults!) in attendance. Join the fun or watch and be amazed, but most importantly, consider bidding on one of the many awesome gift baskets donated by Rochester-area businesses. Jillery Hoops donated 5 hula hoops and 5 gift certificates for private hoop lessons, so get your bids in and you too can learn to hoop with Jillery Hoops!
Visit the Dream BIG! Auction and Camp Daydreams websites for more information!

On Saturday, I went to the S.L.I. Productions event "Circus! Circus!" at TiLT nightclub. What a fun time!!! I had my LED hoops with me, and Gretchen Lee Carletta from Metromix was there taking pictures. LED hoops always look so great in pictures, and Gretchen's photos are no exception. After looking at the Metromix home page, Cameron said "You beat out the royal wedding!" There are four pictures of me in the "Circus! Circus! at TILT Nightclub" photo gallery.

Hula hooping offers low impact exercise for your joints, tones your core muscles, improves your coordination, enhances spinal flexibility, and increases your blood flow, all while providing a good dose of laughter to improve your mood. Adult fitness hoops are larger and heavier than the hula hoops you see in toy stores, making them much easier to master and more effective in physical fitness. Always consult your physician before starting any new exercise routine.

Jill Calvert is a Rochester-area hoop-girl. Over the past 2 years she has taught many first-timers how to spin a hula hoop, and mentored several people in learning the specialized tricks of hoop dancing. You may have seen her at Party in the Park, Whirly Wednesdays, as well as Decibel and TiLT nightclubs performing with her beloved hoops.
